The club and its interests have been sponsored by large companies and multinationals in India like Jagatjit Industries Ltd, PHI Learning, Shehnai Mouth Freshener, Group 4 Securicor, Coca-Cola India, Electrolux India, Phoenix Shoes India, ONGC, BHEL and SAIL to name a few. This sponsorship has helped attract new talent as well as retain existing talent by providing financial incentives, better practice facilities, football kit, and coaching to the players while providing an informal channel for the sponsors to engage with the local community and fans who support the club.

Recently, Indian football has made great strides with the Indian team beating Syria twice in the finals to win the ONGC Nehru Cup, Turkmenistan in the final at Ambedkar Stadium in Delhi to win the AFC Challenge Cup, and reaching the final round of the Asia Cup. We believe a team game like football has the potential to capture the public’s interest since it is the most popular game worldwide with a huge global fan base. It will, however, require more sponsorship in India to achieve its full potential.
